By this, we mean consumers who don't know much about appliances and how they work, plus those who are tired of paying ever-increasing prices for repairs.   I have compiled a lot of information on most every major appliance that you are likely to deal with on a regular basis, along with most of the common failures and their corrections.  The repair forum is an excellent source for information when you have a problem, and is not unlike having your very own professional appliance consultant at your fingertips.  The repair manuals are quite helpful as well, and I recommend them for each appliance you own, since they are an excellent resource in time of need. Hopefully this website will enable you to be more self-sufficient and informed.
