From the bottom? That's an odd angle, I admit...
With the range pulled out and the rear cover off, the clock should be entirely visible. The numbers embossed on it are in very tiny format and are difficult to see even for someone much younger than I who has good eyes

Bill, YOU have the only wiring diagram in your possession, or at least you said you did earlier. The terminals are the same for both types of clock, only the face of the clock is changed from digital to analog. Use your diagram to verify the clock terminals are wired per the diagram.

It takes 3 and 1/2 hours on Self clean to reach temps. You have not run it near that long, so you can't be sure. What is for sure is that you have a clock problem and possibly the thermostat is also failing. As you mentioned, this is an older unit, so you may need to do without the self clean feature unless you want to invest some serious money on parts (or a new stove). Took us long enough to figure this out, but it is what it is.

The bake unit does not heat up at all in time bake, but both the bake and broil units get hot on clean. So the clean is getting power but does not get as hot as it should.

The problem is the way your clock is wired. Despite how the diagram is structured, you are not getting power when using Timed Bake nor Self clean. This will turn out to be a wiring issue revolved around the clock terminals. Note which contacts are closed for Timed Bake on your schematic and place thoe wires on the same terminal. Your self clean should work, albeit the clock will no longer stop the cycle by itself.

Ok, I think I may have the solution to your problem...you replaced the clock with a digital version, one that I am familiar with. On the back of the clock are 4 wires if I recall, white, black and 2 red wires. The red wires are separated by the timed bake contacts, which incidentally control the Self-clean as well. If you were to turn off the power to the oven and place the 2 red wires on the same terminal, my best guess is that the self-clean and the timed bake will now light up. See if I am right.

I will probably require a donation from you since you are asking me to devote more time than necessary to help you on this, and I am not a big proponent of buying used parts. My main income is from people buying parts thru my parts links, so if you are going to go the other route, that sorta screws my program up a bit. Free is nice, but I do draw the line at spending rigorous time learned from 37 years of working on appliances like yours without something in return.

I checked the owners manual and there is nothing about P7. What does P7 mean? I do have a wiring diagram, in fact I have all the paperwork that came with the range. If you can guide me through the wiring diagram as to what to look for, this would be good. Do you think it is the oven switch. I can get one used at a reasonable cost. The Dual Range Thermostat is expensive used i.e 100.00. The timer does work (clock works) man i have confidence in said he was sure clock is ok. Latch switch I checked with test light. For some odd reason P7 rings a bell, but can't remember for sure. 30 years is a long time. Thats how long we have had the range. Bought new in 1980. The original timer went out a few years ago and could not find another, so had to get the replacement digital. Went through two of those because they just would not hold up on the clean cycle. (would fry boards). We only clean when oven gets really dirty. I finally found a analog from a man who rebuilds stove clocks. Let me know if your looking for a good man who rebuilds clocks, and I will give you the info to get in touch with him. There is some history. Thanks for taking the time to help me.
