GE
model #DSS25MSSESS
Serial #SH401639

im having a problem with this fridge. everytime i push the button to dispense ice, it shortes out the fridge. the display inside the fridge area would go out, the auger motor would make a loude humming noise, and the water dispenser would not work.
i removed the front cover and removed the Dispenser Façade. then, i unpluged the harness for the light and the one for the seloniod. soon ,after i pushed the switch to dispence water and everything would work just fine. i though the problem was the selonoid so i replaced it but it didnt work. i now believed that the problem is the dispenser facade (part number at repairclinic 1092914 ) but i would like to ask you what you think the problem might be
thanks.
