Dishwasher is two years old with no history of problems. Has been used rarely and treated well. Now dishes don't get cleaned in the wash cycle.

Rinse Program:
Dishwasher starts up draining and filling for one minute, followed by a stop with a buzzing sound for two minutes. Stops completely then. There is some water left at the end of it. There are no warning lights on.

Eco Program:
Follows same pattern as above but after a further two minutes, follows onto the heat cycle. There is a loading sound, followed by a spraying sound followed by a buzzing sound for minute and a half, then a switch click, then a sound of heating water and a soft knock every 5 to 10 secs lasting for 2 minutes, another switch click. Then stops. After opening some heated water left at the end. Similarly there are no warning lights on.

Your motor is locked up for whatever reason. The loud hum before the internal oveload trips is what you hear. I ever heard of this brand, but the symptoms are the same as for American products as those in Ireland.

My databases don't contain Euro machines, so I can't answer any technical questions for you, sorry. The only thing you can do is to take apart the upper pump area and see if there is something binding the impeller. If no obstacle is found, assume the motor is bad.
