Model # GSX9885JQ w/electronic control, wife stated" I was in the White cycle, it just won't drain or spin, go get your socks out, Some light is blinking."
There you have it.

That's hardly a significant clue....could you be more specific as to which light is blinking?

On the electronic models, fault codes are sometimes generated by the control, and it is important to note which lights are involved. Sometimes it helps to unplug then re-plug the power cord in.

If the lid switch failed during the initial wash & rinse cycle, the machine will stop and go no further. To access the lid switch circuit, remove the 2 screws on the front lower corners of the control panel which attach it to the main top, then flip the panel up and back. This will reveal the controls, plus allow you access to the lid switch connector, which is a small white connecter with 2 or 3 wires clipped to the main top. If you disconnect this harness, you can then use your OHM meter to check for continuity thru the lid switch while it is closed. If continuity exists replace the electronic control itself. If no continuity exists, the lid sitch is bad. We carry both items in our warehouses. Call our parts line at 800-507-4040 during normal business hours tomorrow if you can't find parts locally.
