Your model has a small electric drain pump which carries the water out of the tub, in addition to the wash motor which runs during the main wash. To initiate a drain cycle on your model, shut the door and press the start button 2 times. The display will then show 2 minutes left, and the small electric drain pump will energize to drain the tub.

The usual cause for a no-drain situation is a blockage at the disposal outlet where the dishwasher is connected. If the disposer has been recently replaced, failure to remove the drain plug will cause this problem.

If the unit will drain when manually put in the 2-minute drain mode, then a problem with the electronic control is likely for it not to do so autopmatically at the end of the wash. (rare) Another factor would be a drain hose which has not been installed porperly, or one which has been extended to reach the sink. Longer drain hoses will not work with this model.
