My Jenn-air SEG196W range has a fan/light switch top/front/center. The switch unit fell off and contacted the cleaning unit switch directly below tripping the breaker and causing a little burn mark on one of the contacts. I put everything back into place, but the exhaust fan wont stop running. It usually only runs when the grill burners are on or in the clean mode. I was trying to clean the oven when the fan switch fell. Help.

Remember that your model also has pan switches under the drip trays that can activate the fan whenever the burners are turned on. If the small tip of the pan is not inserted properly into the small hole in the top of the stove, the fan will stay on, thinking that you are using the griddle. Be sure both pans are inserted into their corresponding slots properly.

Naturally, you must replace the fan switch now that it fell off. It was already damaged to have fallen off like that, now only worse. The part for your model is shown below and you may click to order.
