| Our Kemore oven hood microwave will run for only 30 seconds, then stop and displayF-9. It will not respond to any command except stop, clear; then repeat the process. |

The F-9 code on this LG-made microwave signifies that the Humidity Sensor (see pic below parts link) has failed. This is a small disc-like object with 3 wires mounted on the left side of the units cavity shell and it plugs into the main board. To get a replacement part, click the link below and type in your model number. On the Sears page that follows, type "sensor" into the lookup box to get to the correct part. This component is easy to replace as long as you remove the outer shell on the unit.
