|
|
| My Whirlpool refrigerator model #ED25TQXEWOO mftg date 03-97 has a ground in the electrical that kicks the breaker immediatly when plugged in. It started this suddenly. I have looked at where the cord enters the unit and checked all of the wiring to the fan and compressor as best I can with my limited know how and cannot see any bare or burnt wiring. Can you point me in another direction or is this a lost cause. |

Unfortunately, you cannot SEE an electrical short. If you could we would all be making a lot more money. As it it, a technician uses a volt meter to find shorts to ground like this and it is not an easy process. If you want to find out where the short is, you will have to hire someone who knows their business. This is not layman's territory. _________________ FAST-MOVING PARTS | Ask the Repairman |
