My washer filled with water, then nothing happens. I spin the dial around slowly 360 degrees, pull it out again, still nothing. I try the dial at various locations, still nothing, no hum, no noise at all. I checked the circuit breaker, it was good. The washer has been working fine till now. I am very handy and can probably fix it if I have an idea what to look for and how. Amy ideas?
Thanks

the complete model number is 110.24642300. I was told the last 5 digits wouldn't matter as far as service and parts, which is why I didn't put them all in. Hope this helps and thanks.

Well, tell the person who told you that that his info is erroneous Smile
One digit off can ruin your day when looking up parts and sometimes service pics. Since you seem to take advice rather readily, mine is to replace the bad lid switch you probably have there and get washing again.
The CORRECT part for your model is shown below, ready for you to click and order. If you need advice as to how to install one, click the subject below the part picture.
