This microwave just sets there and does nothing. I checked for power and it goes all the way to the inside of the microwave. I used to do appliance repair work so I know about service and repairs but know very little about microwave ovens. Could a thermal fuse be causing this problem?

If it is dead, chances are you will find the following fuse inside the shell of the cabinet. The fuse will have no reading when tested with an OHM meter if it is bad. The correct 20-amp fuse for this microwave model is shown below. Do not attempt to buy a different part or it may not be the correct one. I have researched this specifically by model. This unit also has a thermal fuse on the mag tube, but it does not commonly cause this issue.
