Maytag washer model #lse7804acm won't fill on any wash cycle, but will spin. Washer worked fine one day,next day won't fill. Please help. Thanks.

Sounds like perhaps the fuse is blown inside the front of the washer cabinet. Remove the bottom 2 screws from the front panel after unplugging the power cord first.

Swing the front panel off from the bottom, releasing it from the 2 clips on the main top. The fuse is on your left corner, about midway up. If it is blown, either the machine got way off-balance during the past load and tripped the lid switch, or the lid switch assembly is going bad.

Try replacing the fuse first. If the machine fills and runs OK, then don't worry about it. If the fuse continues to blow, you'll have to order a new lid switch assembly. It's located under the main top in back, so removing the washer from under the stack dryer would be necessary, which is a very simple procedure.

Thank you for your quick response to our request. We did as you suggested, and replaced the fuse first. That did the trick, the washer is up and running once again. Thank you! Saved us MONEY, and time! Rick and Susan Hopper.
