| I have a Maytag washer Model MAH30000Aww and when I press the start button, it shuts off in 5 seconds and nothing happens. |

This is likely a blown motor control board. Maytag has a kit out which include the motor control board, plus a new motor for $204.89. Actually, we carry them on our website for $199.00 at the following link:

Instructions are included in the package. If I may add, the new motor is much, much quieter than the original. I replaced the one on my own machine & was delighted at the difference. A good time to replace the drive belt, too. |
