i have replaced the heating element, and the temp switch.
i even tried a second temp switch.
if i jump the blue a purple wires going to the switch i have heat. hook up the switch and no heat.
any ideas?

Hm-m-m, by shorting BU to PU, you are bypassing the operating thermostat on the front of the blower duct. You can always test the outer terminals on this stat for continuity with your OHM meter to confirm it is an open circuit before you order the new thermostat below.
