Hi
I have a fridgedaire dryer model cref342asi that is overheating and shutting down. The back center of the dryer gets very hot.
Help.

Remove the vent hose off of the back completely and see if the dryer still does the overheating thing. Use a thermometer in the back outlet to measure the air just as we do in the field. Look for 155-160 degrees in the output air.
