Dryer will dry a 2 loads then during the third load it will shut off halfway through and will not turn back on for 15 to 20 minutes. Could this be a motor problem?

Well, it is probably due to the motor overheating. These motors have an internal overload protector which opens the circuit to the motor until it cools sufficiently to run. Usually this is always caused by a restricted vent. If this has gone on for some time, motor dame in the form of bearing failure will occur and is irreversible except to replace the motor. You woulld do well to read my section on dryer venting and ensure that your dryer is in compliance.

You should also open up the dryer and vacuum all lint from the motor and inner cabinet areas to prevent further damage and possibly a fire.
