| I had a problem 2yrs ago with my dryer not heating up. I ordered a thermostat limit,Thermostat cycling a thermistor temp and a Gas Valve Coil kit from you it turned out to be the Gas Valve coil kit. So when the dryer was not heating up again a couple of days ago I ordered another Gas Valve coil kit from you. Received it in 2 days thanks. But I just replaced it and the dryer is not getting hot, Could it be a defective part? or something else This dryer is a real piece of Sh--. It is 4 yrs old do I need a new dryer? Any help would be appreciated Thanks. |

One thing is for sure...you are not testing anything before ordering a bunch of parts and that is not how we do business here. You also forgot the all-important MODEL number. I can't help you without it, and you can't determine the problem unless you own a voltmeter. You'll need to be checking for proper voltage at the ignitor and other places.
I wouldn't be calling your dryer POS just because you have venting issues or some other problem. Maytag dryers are the best in the field as far as I am concerned...it's all in how they are hooked up as to what results you will get.
