| I have a Kenmore model 721.62463200 which is 8 years old. Recently it stopped heating. The display works, as does the keypad. It will allow us to enter time and press the start button; the light comes on and the timer counts down but nothing else happens. Is this something I can repair or does it need to be replaced? |

Probably not worth the expense of a new control board. Even though it appears to work, the electronic relays attached to it are not energizing to run the unit. A technician would use his meter to check the door interlock switches before finally condemning the board however. I am sure you know I don't offer help on microwave testing to laypersons for liability reasons.
The board will cost you what a new basic microwave would. _________________ FAST-MOVING PARTS | Ask the Repairman |
