hit cancel cancel then start and get the following.

am71 u145 eewet 204 above that 69 degrees & 0100

control panel is acting up and could not turn the stove off yesterday. Started with couldnt set the timer. Tried turning off and on. So far i have found the way to get the code and thats it. I normally repair office machines and automotive things and am really interested in the service manual for this oven.

Anyone have direction for the info. I havent had a chance to take panel out. Its at girlfriends house. Not sure if its bad connection or if we need the whole panel for 175 bucks ??

Although this will be a control issue, I have attached the tech sheet for this range below so you can have fun diagnosing it on your own:

Tech Sheet

The control panel parts are shown at the link below:

thank you very much. Yeah I need to find out if its the loose cable problem or the control panel or touch. Seemed to have problem with just one button, a timer buttom after oven was hot. Then the thing wouldnt shut off.

Then panic sets in. thanks for the help!

OK, so now you have provided the main clue that would have solved this whole thing. Your touch panel is bad. Forget the clock control, if the timer would not reset or started on its own after the front got hot, the control panel has a shorted key.
I need the other digits at the end of the model number to help find the best price for you.

The whole, correct model number will keep you from ordering the wrong part!

wow gr673lxsb1 the black one i saw it there at your parts link. I did get her to run the cancel cancel start again and got the same code above. Very different from the tech sheet you gave me lol. Called whirlpool and ran above codes to them and they were confused too. Should be a f or e codes etc etc.

Anyway yeah It started with one of the timer buttons after it got hot and then the next day she had problem shutting the oven off i guess. Had to kill breaker.

It really sucks cause she has only been using it for two years and then we found out with serial number that it was at menards for almost two years. She got a clearance price on it but hells bells.
