I just replaced the rear tub and bearing on my Kenmore frontload washer model 417.43142200. The machine runs through its cycle but does not reach the final spin speed all of the time leaving the load soaking wet. It works fine the first load of the day but will not reach the spin speed on the next load. It only slowly goes back and forth like it does at the end of the spin cycle. The pump seems louder than normal but it does pump and i have checked it for a blockage and found none. If I let the wet load sit for a few hours then turn it on for just the spin cycle it will work. Any ideas?

I assume the bearing job went well? No binding of the tub afterward that might cause motor fatigue. You would be able to spin the main pulley on the drum freely if there was no binding.

The usual reason for this sypmtom is a failing speed control board down near the floor. Make sure you connected all your wires and double check the wires to the motor itself, particularly near the harness connecotr. The small wires tend to fray if not properly secured with a wire tie to the frame. Should all the wiring look intact, suspect the speed control board.
