i have a fridgidare gas range that the top burns do not light on.
the igniters click when turned to the light position but the burners do not light. any suggestions |

You are not helping your case by omitting the model number. Check inside the lower drawer for this information.
In most cases of top burner problems, the spark module is at fault. Even though you may hear a click, the spark is not being generated at enough power to light the gas. It is also important to check the physical condition of each of the burner spark electrodes. These have delicate ceramic insulation on them that can crack and cause the spark to go to ground instead of across the burner. _________________ FAST-MOVING PARTS | Ask the Repairman |
