Front Loading Kenmore washer Model #970-C41062-00 Serial#XC23503062
From the start of the cycle this unit will work thru several fill, agitate, drain sequences but when it gets to what seems to be the last one (before the final spin) it fills but won't automatically advance (can manually advance it 1-2clicks and it will carry on to completion). Tried varying water temperature (lots of pressure in the cold line), load size, wash type with no luck. Replaced the timer this afternoon, but unfortunately it was not the problem (unless I got a bad timer, but what are the odds?). Any help would greatly appreciated. |

| More than likely a water pressure switch problem for it not to advance after the final rinse. Can't find the model number you offered anywhere, but if you can email a copy of the schematic (wiring diagram) we can go over some of the circuits. |

| According to the schematic, your speed coontrol is the only other factor which will interrupt power to the timer motor when contact 6T is open during the rinse/spin cycles. Apparently a new speed control is in order. |
